Teaching

Besides greatly enjoying a lot to be on stage and playing music with my colleagues, I love to teach the violin to others as well! Doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an advanced violinist, a kid or an adult. What truly matters is your passion for the violin and for making music! Together we will go looking for your best violin playing, but at the end of the lesson, what we’re really looking for, is that you had fun learning something new and improving your skills.

Our lessons can take place at yours or at mine (in Lucerne and nearby). Online teaching is possible as well, but it’s not the same experience compared to making music together and in person. So, please do not expect the same results with online teaching as with in-classrom teaching. Our lessons can be focus on classical music, jazz and/or pop music and there will be opportunities for improvisation as well. Prices will vary, according to the lesson duration (min. 30 minutes).

… Not sure yet? Give a look and listen to the next videos and hopefully I will see you soon! 😉

THE KIDS DON’T LIE… – Do you want to know more about me? The kids in this video talk about me (in German/Swiss German) as a teacher and about our violin lessons (2020).
PRIVAT LESSONS – Haidar is my first private student. Here you can listen to us playing some Disney songs (2019).
REPRESENTATION – Representation can be hard: it’s always a challenge to replace another teacher! However, the experience can also be very enriching. In this lesson we decided to sing and play and do a record of it to send to their parents 🙂 (2020).
GOOD TEACHER = GOOD EXAMPLE… – As a teacher you need to be a role model. During the lockdown one needs to keep the kids motivated, so I made a video for them, showing them my daily morning routine with my violin (2020).
AN IMPROVISED CHRISTMAS – Covid-19 cancelled our concerts. Lucky us, we have smartphones that can record us doing music and easily let us send those videos to our families! Christmas without music wouldn’t be the same! (2020)
